| A Content Managed Website allows you to log onto it and change content. Unlike original websites, that you needed to go through the Web Designer whenever you needed to make a change, with a Content Managed Site, you can make the changes yourself. The advantage is obviously cost (you don't need to pay someone else whenever there is a change) as well as having an updated website. In the past, you normally waited until you had a few changes before you sent them to the designer. Many Website Design businesses use open source software like Joomla to manage the Content Management. One of these functionalities is Sitewalk, which allows you to click through your site as normal and make changes as you go. |
